Hello friends,
Discord came out and kind of killed the need for a forum near the time I made this place. I pretty much abandoned this place, it didn't seem helpful anymore. Back in the day, Skype was the go to chat and it didn't have separated channels so forums were still pretty handy for segmenting information.
Well, now I've realized Discord has some serious limits too. Small character limits per posts, things can still get burried in active channels, it has a search but every channel is a long stream of thought so its still cumbersome - and that search runs pretty slowly.
I needed a place to post my writing. These are some long text files so they hit the post limit, burying themselves in multiple posts, the side bars squish it... Its just a bad way to do it. And to my surprise, this forum actually loads insanely fast - so many websites are sllllloooow these days.
So it's time to boot this back up, even if no one else hangs out on it, it's still useful for me to just store my writing on. I shouldn't leave it all in my head and some local documents. And I'd like others to have a way to take a look at it too.
